Wetherby

Situated straight out of North Leeds on the A1 with great links to York and Harrogate, Wetherby is a vibrant and modern, yet picturesque, town. Its unique and compact centre is set on the banks of the River Wharfe, and meticulously maintained floral displays are complemented by rows of pretty boutiques and cafes. The independent atmosphere is unsullied by chain stores or pub franchises and the town has a strong heritage of English pubs serving up superb range of ales and a traditional, unpretentious atmosphere. Sophisticated wine bars and pubs such as the Three Legs Inn cater for an increasingly cosmopolitan crowd, a shift which is a sign of Wetherby’s growing appeal to young professionals.
